Rubicon Recruitment in Poole is seeking a CNC Trainee to join a skilled manufacturing team. You will earn £12.71 per hour while you learn on the job.

No experience is needed; full training is provided with a clear pathway to progress in precision engineering. You will work hands-on, learning to load brass bars, start programs under supervision, and monitor machines to ensure first-off quality against drawings.

Qualifications

• Some basic knowledge of CNC machines would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Loading brass bar into the CNC bar feeders
• Starting programs under supervision, checking first-off quality before full batch runs
• Monitoring machines throughout the manufacturing process
• Confirming product quality against drawings and specifications
• Carrying out cleaning, safety checks and tooling checks, flagging any issues to the CNC Machinist
