CNC Operative

As a CNC Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Loading solid‑grade laminate boards onto the nesting CNC machine ready for cutting
• Running pre‑programmed cutting cycles and monitoring the machine throughout operation
• Listening for signs of machine stress or cutting strain and acting accordingly
• Removing finished boards from the machine and labelling output for dispatch
• Maintaining an organised, safe working area within the machine shop

As a CNC Operative, your experience will include:

• One to two years of experience as a CNC Operative or in a comparable machine operating role
• Ability to recognise when a cut is under strain through sound and machine behaviour
• Physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy panels safely and consistently
• A background in wood machining, fabrication, or a related manufacturing discipline is desirable
• A reliable, steady approach to production work with strong attention to detail
