Job description

SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar and YASA.

We are looking for machining, pressing and advance measurement techniciansto join our team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Loading and running machines
  • Conducting tool changeovers and set high tonnage multi-level presses and single level presses to press complex parts to established tolerances, cycle times and quality standards
  • Being responsible for the manufacture of parts throughout the complete process to final inspection
  • Testing and measuring selected samples so that the physical properties of parts can be monitored
  • Following all health & safety procedures in line with Company policies and practices

Required Skills and Experience

  • Excellent standard of English and Maths – both verbally and written
  • Capable of understanding and working to process and manufacturing instructions and specifications and to quality standards
  • Ability to work as part of a team and liaise with personnel at all levels
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
  • Well organised, self-disciplined, methodical and thorough in their approach
  • Ability to make consistent decisions and solve problems and implement appropriate remedial measures as necessary

  • Monday to Friday – 8 hours rotating shift pattern
