About The Job

Job Title: Production Leader - Designate

Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + 26 Days Holiday + Benefits

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:30am to 5:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. Friday: 7:30am to 12:30pm

Are you a Production Engineer or CNC Team Leader ready to step into a leadership role? We are looking for a proactive engineer at Penta Precision, a growing precision machining business in Portsmouth. This role offers a clear pathway into senior production leadership.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the Head of Manufacturing and Quality with daily operations
• Assisting with production planning and scheduling
• Communicating across departments to ensure smooth workflow
• Learning our systems, processes, and planning tools

Over Time, You'll Progress To

• Taking ownership of the full production schedule
• Leading daily operations of the production department
• Managing team leaders and supporting their delivery
• Running production meetings
• Driving performance and continuous improvement
