Job Role: CNC Team Leader

Location: Nottinghamshire

Shift: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00, Friday 08:30 - 12:00

Pay Rate: £45,000 - £48,000 per annum, d.o.e

The Company

The CNC Team Leader Candidate
  • Skilled in programming, setting, and operating CNC mills, lathes, and machining centres.
  • Experienced in estimating set up/run times, tooling, and material needs.
  • Working independently, and from engineering drawings without supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify drawing discrepancies.
  • Previous experience managing a machine shop or leading a machining team.
  • Ambition to build and manage a team while overseeing daily workshop operations.
The CNC Team Leader Responsibility
  • Read engineering drawings to determine required materials, fixtures, tools, and attachments.
  • Adjust speeds, feeds, and tooling to ensure precision and prevent errors.
  • Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, coolant, cleaning, and tool replacement.
  • Inspect finished parts for dimensional and surface accuracy to maintain quality standards.
