Yolk Recruitment is assisting an established precision engineering manufacturer in South Wales to recruit a CNC Production Team Leader for the day shift. You will oversee the machining operation, ensuring people, machines and priorities align to move work through production smoothly.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of CNC machining and precision manufacturing.
• Experience leading or supervising people in manufacturing.
• Structured approach to solving production issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of the production plan across the shopfloor.
• Prioritise and sequence work to meet customer and business requirements.
• Manage WIP and remove bottlenecks to maintain output and delivery.
• Coach and support the production team and communicate priorities daily.
• Monitor KPIs such as OTIF, throughput, utilisation and efficiency.
