Qualifications

CNC Supervisor

Salary: £19-20 per hour
Location: East Grinstead
Hours: Monday–Thursday, Full Time
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Permanent



Our market leading client is seeking a proactive and reliable CNC Supervisor to lead and supervise daily operations on the shop floor to ensure production targets are met, quality standards

and make sure all health and safety procedures are adhered to. You will ideally come from a strong CNC Machining background or have experience within the vacuum industry.

CNC Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all shop floor activities including machining, assembly, inspection and dispatch
• Oversee the setup and operation of the cnc machines to ensure optimal performance
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards including ISO 9001 and any other industry requirements
• Drive continuous improvement and reduce waste
• Manage a team of skilled and semi-skilled operators
• Liaise with planning, quality and design teams to ensure accurate and timely job completion
• Monitor report on production KPI's, workflow issues and downtime incidents
• Enforce health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment

Desirable Experience:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within CNC machining and/or vacuum manufacturing
• Strong understanding of CNC machines
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience of working to tight deadlines
• Good problem solving skills and able to make decisions under pressure
