Salary: £55,000 per annum plus overtime

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Nightshift Supervisor to join our busy CNC workshop in Coventry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision engineering and CNC machining, with proven leadership skills to oversee nightshift operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety procedures are consistently met.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing all nightshift operations within the CNC workshop, ensuring production schedules are met efficiently and safely.
  • Managing and supporting a team of shop floor machinists
  • Allocating workloads, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinating machine setups, overseeing job progress, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining accurate shift reports.
  • Ensuring equipment is properly maintained, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and liaising with day shift supervisors and management to ensure smooth shift handovers and consistent operational performance.
Requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
  • A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
  • Good communication abilities
  • Certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline would be beneficial
