Job summary

Personnel Selection is seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Programmer in Hampshire to join a busy manufacturing team. You will set up, program and operate Robo Drill CNC mills, ensuring parts meet drawings and tolerances while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role emphasises practical problem-solving, attention to detail and teamwork within a hearing-focused, quality-driven environment. Competitive hourly pay and holiday package are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and programming Robo Drill CNC mills.
• Solid understanding of Renishaw probing/software.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tolerances.
• Comfort with manual tooling and inspection equipment.
• Commitment to safety and quality in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Set, programme and operate Robo Drill CNC mills, saws and manual machines.
• Set up tooling to meet drawing tolerances.
• Carry out efficient machine changeovers to reduce downtime.
• Inspect and measure machined components with appropriate equipment.
• Use Renishaw probing and Seiki system software for data and tooling.
• Troubleshoot machining, setting and programme issues and suggest improvements.
• Support continual improvement to optimize production efficiency.
• Keep machines and work areas clean, safe and maintained.
