Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Derby is seeking a CNC Setter Operator (Milling) to produce precision components for aerospace applications, working on 3-5 axis milling machines. The role requires setting and operating CNC equipment, interpreting drawings and maintaining tight tolerances.

This permanent position offers weekend days shift, 6am-6pm, with a 40% shift premium, 25 days plus bank holidays, and life assurance of 3x annual salary. British citizenship is required due to security restrictions.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship or significant experience
• Ability to set and operate milling machines
• Experience of milling machines - 3 or 5 Axis
• Able to interpret engineering drawings
• Able to self-inspect work using various inspection techniques

The Role - CNC Setter Operator

As a CNC Machinist (Milling), you'll play a key role in machining complex components for advanced aircraft systems, working in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Due to Security restrictions, all candidates must currently hold British citizenship.

Duties - CNC Setter Operator

• Produce accurate, high-quality components with maximum efficiency

Background - CNC Setter Operator
