Job Title: CNC Setter/Operator (Day Shift)

What You'll Do:

As a CNC Setter/Operator on the day shift, you'll play a hands-on role in delivering precision parts to exacting standards. Responsibilities include:

• Setting and operating CNC machines to manufacture high-accuracy components

• Performing precision quality checks with advanced measuring tools

• Maintaining tight tolerances (within +/- 5 microns)

• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

• Collaborating with a high-performing team to optimise productivity

• Participating in continuous training and upskilling initiatives

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

• Understanding of machine tools and metric dimensions

• Strong attention to detail and good near vision

• Ability to work with fine tolerances and measurements

• A reliable, team-oriented approach with clear communication skills

Desirable (but not required):

• Previous experience in a machining or CNC-based role

• Willingness to learn - full training is provided

Tools and Technology:

• Modern CNC machinery

• High-specification metrology and measuring equipment

Shift Details:

This is a day shift position, working a rotating 6-6 pattern:

• Week 1: Five 12-hour day shifts

• Week 2: Two 12-hour day shifts

This schedule offers more full days off across a two-week period, giving you greater flexibility and work-life balance.
