A leading recruitment agency is looking for an experienced CNC Setter to join a well-established engineering company in Southend-on-Sea. The role offers a 4-day work week with hours from Monday to Thursday. Candidates should have a strong background in machinery operations, specifically with CNC machines and related processes. Responsibilities include setting and running machinery, maintaining quality standards, and performing inspections. This position also provides opportunities for training junior operators. Formación

• Proven experience as a CNC Setter or Operator in a machining environment.
• Ability to work with fixed head and sliding head CNC machines.
• Familiarity with production records and quality procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Set and run first operations machinery, including CNC machines and lathes.
• Support the setting and running of various second operations machinery.
• Maintain machine efficiency to support on-time delivery.

Conocimientos

Experience with CNC machines

Knowledge of aluminium and stainless steels

Ability to perform inspections

Familiarity with health and safety procedures
