Urgent: Full Time

We are looking for experienced CNC machine setter/operators who can commit to a rotating shift within a busy and rapidly expanding aerospace company in Wigston, and open to be trained on new machines.

This is a role working a 3 shift rotation day, late AND night shift

What you will be doing

You will be setting up high-speed production machinery, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers or verniers and working with both quality & production targets.

You will be loading and unloading machinery, following written instructions & following engineering drawings.

Shift rotation

Days – Monday to Thursday 05:45 – 13:45 Friday 05:45 – 10:45

Afternoon – Monday to Thursday 13:45 – 21:45 Friday 10:45 – 15:45

Nights – Monday to Thursday 21:45 – 05:45 Friday 15:45 – 20:45

Your initial training is on fixed days (average 2 – 4 weeks), then moved to the rotating shift pattern. While training you will be on £14.71 then once on rotating pattern moved up to £17.80.

To be considered – you MUST have some CNC setting / operating experience, be able to use precision measuring instruments and be flexible enough to work the shift pattern without issue.

In return – this role offers you:

  • £17.80 p/hour (£14.71 p/hour when training on days).
  • £19.19 p/hour after further training
  • 37 hours paid per week (average working out annual).
