As the CNC Setter/Operator, you will work with a dedicated team to produce high-quality transmission components primarily for the motorsport and aerospace industries. Your responsibilities include operating Mazak Integrex i-200-ST Multi Axis Machining Centres, producing components from drawings, and ensuring quality and delivery standards. You will also engage in problem-solving, program editing, and machine setup, with support from EdgeCam and Delcam offline programming.
- Experience in producing components from drawings and route cards.
- Proactive, innovative, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Mazak/Fanuc controls, preferably Mazatrol programming.
- Experience with multitasking lathes and various manufacturing areas, including Mazak VariAxis i500/i600 and two-axis CNC lathes.
- Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines.
- Ability to read, understand, and edit programs, and adjust machining parameters.
- Knowledge of turning tips and milling cutters.
