CNC Setter Operator

Position: CNC Setter/Programmer

Location: Plymouth
Salary: £15 - £20 per hour (Plus Overtime and Career Progression Opportunities)

Our client, a leading and well-established manufacturer based in Plymouth, specialises in precision-engineered products crafted from ferrous and non-ferrous metals. These high-tolerance, safety-critical components are designed for use in some of the world's most exciting industries.

Responsibilities:

1. Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components.
2. Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software.
3. Monitor production processes and adjust settings as necessary.
4. Conduct quality checks on finished products.
5. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Programmer.
2. Strong understanding of CNC machinery and programming.
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
4. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
5. Relevant qualifications or certifications in CNC machining.
