Are you a skilled CNC Setter within a manufacturing environment? Come be a part of this global manufacturing company at its market-leading Hydraulic Valve Systems Europe division (HVSE). Be involved in implementing future technology within valve products, focusing on new creations and improvements across large international customers.

As a CNC Setter at HVSE, you will develop hydraulic cartridge valves and ensure safety standards while setting and operating a Sliding Head CNC Machine. Your responsibilities include maintaining quality standards for valve components for various international projects.

Position Summary

• Machine Setup and Operation: Set up sliding head CNC machines using tooling and setup sheets to produce components to specified tolerances within set times.
• Follow Health & Safety and 5S Standards: Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines, maintain and improve workplace organization and lean standards.
• Tool Maintenance: Use change inserts, drills, and other tooling as needed, and suggest alternative solutions when appropriate.
• Inspection and Quality Control: Conduct dimensional inspections and record output and scrap accurately.
• Work Order Compliance: Follow work orders and complete tasks according to machine system instructions.

Responsibilities

• Previous CNC machine setting experience and ability to operate CNC turning machines independently.
• Ability to review engineering drawings and maintain tight tolerances.
• Strong quality and safety awareness, act independently in quality checks, and ensure machine condition and output standards.
• Experience with Sliding Head CNC machines is advantageous but training can be provided.
• Experience with Fanuc or similar CNC controls is beneficial.
