Job Title: CNC Setter - Milling or Turning
Location: West Byfleet
Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
Flexitime: Available for start and finish times
The Company:
A well-established precision engineering firm is seeking a skilled CNC Miller Setter to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, forward-thinking company with a strong reputation for quality and investment in the latest technology.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting Bridgeport 3 axis mills with Heidenhain controls / Fanuc controlled lathes producing high-precision components for various sectors. Depending on experience, involvement may include programming, setting, or both.
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Set and operate a 3 axis Heidenhain mills or Fanuc lathes
⦁ Edit existing programs as needed
⦁ Interpret technical drawings and specifications
⦁ Carry out quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment
⦁ Ensure parts are machined to tight tolerances
⦁ Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
Requirements:
⦁ Previous experience in a CNC Milling role
⦁ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
⦁ Experience with precision components and close tolerances
⦁ Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitude
