Experienced Mechanical Engineer

Negotiable dependant on experience

Solihull

Day shift from 07:30 am to 16:00


We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a reputable Press Tooling manufacturer. With strong connections in the aerospace, automotive, and construction sectors and a growing presence across Europe, our client requires a dedicated team member to uphold exceptional quality standards.


Job role, key elements…

Tool Room

• CNC Lathe programming and machining of cylindrical hobs and associated

electrodes (FANUC Control)

• Pressing of hobs using Master Tooling (training will be given)

• General machining (conventional lathe, slitting, surface grinding)

• Working down to tolerances of 0.01mm

• Small batch sizes

5-Axis Milling

• Setting and operating Hurco VM10 5 Axis Milling Machine

• CAD/Cam off-line programming via Autodesk Fusion 360

• Working down to tolerances of 0.01mm

• Bespoke items

5-Axis Grinding

• Setting and operating ANCA grinding machines (training can be given)

• Working down to tolerances of 0.01mm
