Job summary

Nylacast Ltd in Leicester is seeking a High Volume CNC Setter to operate machine tools on a fast-moving production line. You will set up CNC lathes/mills, adjust tooling, and ensure parts meet engineering drawings while hitting daily production targets.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, using handheld measuring equipment, and maintaining quality and housekeeping. Full training will be provided and you will join a team committed to quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machine tools preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Familiar with measuring equipment.
• Reliable and hardworking with minimal supervision.

Job description

High Volume CNC Setter Reporting to: | Production Manager Location | The role will be based at our manufacturing Site in Leicester. Hours | Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00 & 14:00 to 22:00, rotating weekly with a daily break (Double Day Shift)

The Role The successful applicants will effectively and efficiently operate machine tools, ensuring the company's product lines conform to quality standards and in accordance with the specified Engineering Drawing, whilst maintaining daily production targets.

• Operate & Set Machine Tools Ability to understand technical drawings Check & examine products Correctly and accurately use handheld measuring equipment Identify quality issues Hit daily production targets Keep Machine/workstation tidy and free from slips, trips and falls
• To act professionally in accordance with the company policies and procedures
