Position Summary:
This role is within the Facilities Department. The technician performs maintenance on CNC equipment, supports preventative maintenance systems, and implements continuous improvement activities to support manufacturing. Reporting to the Machine Maintenance Manager, this position requires teamwork and collaboration with other trades, facilities personnel, and internal customers. It is a hands-on role.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, predict, and prevent equipment failures to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventative maintenance and contribute to developing the maintenance program.
• Install and repair hydraulic, coolant, or air systems associated with machines.
• Replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other machine components.
• Manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures effectively.
• Follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and adhere to security protocols.
• Maintain knowledge of CNC controls, drives, and electrical power distribution.
• Support preventative maintenance initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors and outside contractors as needed.

Education and Experience:

• 5–7 years of maintenance experience on CNC equipment.
• High School Diploma required; technical or college diploma a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and good communication skills.
• Experience with CNC mills, lathes, mill-turns, broaches, and similar machines.
• Knowledge of automatic tool changers, pallet systems, and spindle repair.
• Hydraulic, pneumatic troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting.
• Control experience with Fanuc, Siemens, and other PLCs.
• Knowledge of 220/480V systems, predictive maintenance, and vibration analysis.

Working Conditions:

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Wear PPE in designated areas.
• Stand for long periods, work on ladders, scaffolds, or lifts.
• Work in dusty, hot, wet, or confined environments, including outdoors and rooftops.
• Respond to emergencies 24/7.
