Staffline is recruiting CNC Router Machine Operators & Setters in Loughborough.

The rate of pay is competitive and negotiable, depending on experience.

Overtime may be available based on production needs and is paid at enhanced rates.

This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with the following shift pattern:

· Monday to Thursday: 07:45 AM – 4:30 PM


Your Time At Work:

As a CNC Router Machine Operator & Setter, you’ll be responsible for operating and setting 3-axis CNC router machines to produce high-quality plastic components to precise specifications. You’ll work with Excitech and Axyz CNC machines, programming using Vetric CAM software and AutoCAD.

If you have a background in plastic fabrication or joinery, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key responsibilities include:

· Setting up and operating Excitech and Axyz CNC routers to produce accurate components to tight tolerances

· Programming using Vetric software and preparing/editing files in AutoCAD

· Interpreting technical drawings and selecting the most efficient machining methods and tooling

· Machining plastic sheet materials and occasionally jig mouldings as per design requirements

· Conducting quality checks and self-inspections to ensure all work meets CTQ (Critical to Quality) standards

· Performing daily operational and maintenance checks on machines

· Following all health and safety and operational procedures on the shop floor

You’ll be fluent in English (spoken and written), with the ability to read and understand technical drawings and machining instructions. We’re looking for someone reliable,

punctual, and committed to continuous development, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset.

Applicants should have experience operating 3-axis CNC routing machines (Axyz and Excitech preferred) and be confident using AutoCAD and Vetric CAM software or similar tools. A strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly are essential.
