Job summary

Depuy Synthes is seeking an Advanced CNC Machinist Programmer to join its manufacturing team in the Beeston/Leeds area. You will program, set up, and operate advanced CNC machinery (5-axis milling, turning, surface grinding) and contribute to inspections with CMM and automated surface finish checks.

Role requires GD&T knowledge, GMP experience, and ability to improve processes. Working across shifts, you will be part of a forward-thinking healthcare company with a long-term temporary contract.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC programming, setting and operating

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-axis CNC machinery and CMM equipment safely
• Interpret detailed drawings and work instructions
• Develop manufacturing initiatives to improve lead times and value
• Perform asset care and minor maintenance on equipment
• Prioritise workload to meet deadlines within GMP guidelines
• Collaborate with team and other departments
• Apply GMP practices and quality systems to work
• Use software: ADAPTIV, Seiki Systems, NX, JDE
• Maintain housekeeping and 6S in the area
