Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd seeks a full-time CNC Programmer Setter in the Telford area. The role involves creating detailed instructions that CNC machines follow to produce components, based on blueprints and CAD/CAM models.

You will translate designs into machine-readable code and select tools and cutting parameters to meet exact specifications. Two to three years' CNC programming experience is preferred, ideally with Citizen slider lathes.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' CNC programming experience.
• Experience using a Citizen slider lathe machine.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
• Able to finish to a high standard.
• Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed CNC instructions used by machines to manufacture parts.
• Analyse blueprints and models and translate designs into machine-readable code via CAD/CAM software.
• Ensure parts meet precise dimensions and specifications.
