CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator - Milling

Location: Egham
Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 (DOE)
A global leader in aerospace component manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to program, set, and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis milling machines. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled CNC professional to work on precision aerospace components in a technically advanced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program CNC machines (3, 4, & 5 axis) using Fanuc and Sinumerik controls (online)
  • Program offline using EDGECAM
  • Set and produce first-off components to meet exacting tolerances and quality standards
  • Generate setup documentation and ensure repeatability in production
  • Continually improve processes and tooling through updated cutting technology
  • Collaborate with management to meet production timelines and flag potential issues
  • Provide technical support and solutions for production and process issues
  • Work closely with Engineering and Quality teams to maintain rigorous QA standards
  • Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards on the shop floor
  • Mentor new staff and support team members as needed

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience in CNC milling - programming, setting, and operating
  • Strong background in aerospace machining preferred
  • Proficiency in EDGECAM for CAD/CAM offline programming
  • Hands-on experience with Fanuc and Sinumerik controls
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Skilled in both metric and imperial systems
  • Apprenticeship background and technical training courses preferred
  • Sound understanding of measurement tools and QA practices
  • Good command of English and Mathematics
