The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Hurco control machines, utilizing CAD-CAM software, and ensuring components are machined to tight tolerances. Candidates should have proven experience in CNC milling and knowledge of precision measuring equipment. This is a permanent position offering a salary of £38,000 - £40,000.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of precision measuring equipment, such as CMM Machines.

We are seeking a CNC PROGRAMMER / SETTER/ OEPRATOR.

We are a busy manufacturing facility in the Wolverhampton area, we are thriving, making us a very stable place to work.

Supplying into aerospace, defence and marine industry sectors, our product range is huge and varied.

Commutable from Rowley Regis, Cradley Heath, Dudley, Brierley Hill, Wolverhampton, Wombourne, Stourbridge, Walsall, Wednesbury, Walsall, Telford, Bloxwich and Penkridge

Responsibilities

• Programme, set, and operate Hurco control machines using One-CNC CAD-CAM software (or similar).
• Work with a variety of measuring equipment, including CMM machines and shadowgraphs.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, including geometric tolerances.
• Machine components to close tolerances to meet strict industry standards.
• Work independently and unsupervised to deliver high-quality parts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in CNC milling - programming, setting, and operating.
• Proficiency with CAD-CAM software (One-CNC preferred, alternatives considered).
• Strong knowledge of precision measuring equipment, such as CMM Machines
• To be able to use a shadow graph
• Ability to work to tight tolerances.
