Job description

Job Description:

- CNC machine usage to engineer small components
- Diagnose and resolve machine issues, adjusting offsets and coordinates as needed to ensure smooth operation
- Liaison with all departments to ensure specifications are met
- Ability to read and understand complex technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
- Set, program, and operate 3 - 4 CNC machines to a high standard
- Ensure your work meets the highest standards by performing quality checks on your own output
- Complete final stage inspections of components using hand held tools
- Work within a team of 5 to create high precision projects

Key Skills and Experience:

- Must have at least 3 years of experience in CNC programming - relevant industry experience
- Previous roles to include precision engineering
- Confident working with a range of materials - plastics, titanium, aluminum
- Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings and translate them into precise machine instructions
- Confident with hand held measuring tools - calipers, gauges etc
- You must be able to quickly adapt to new machinery
- Experience using Siemens or Fanuc machinery and programming settings
- Haas VF4-SS 4 Axis Vertical machine experience is a bonus
- Ability to work with strict timelines on projects
- You should be a motivated, flexible team player with a "can-do" attitude
