Job summary

  • Familiar with material traceability and equipment calibration requirements.

Job description

CNC Programmer/Operator 3 and 5 Axis Router

  • Up to GBP16.58 per hour

We are working with a long-standing client of ours based in Wythenshawe who are looking for CNC Programmer/Operator Router.

The Job

  • Take ownership of the CNC router to meet daily production.
  • Operate CAD-CAM (Vectric / Aspire) software and take responsibility for nesting different components to maximise outputs efficiently and effectively
  • Familiarity operating and programming 5 axis CNC machines.
  • Review drawings, technical data and product development requirements; to ensure effective machining, production engineering standards and component quality.
  • Ensure the workshop and machinery is maintained to a safe standard in accordance with company EH&S policies/procedures.
  • Read and understand basic engineering drawings and 1st and 3rd Angle projection
  • Capable of reading and understanding Standard Measuring Equipment SME.

About you

  • Have experience in programming and operating router using (Vectric / Aspire).
  • Knowledge of programming and teaching 5 axis routers (Thermwood if possible)
  • Capable of reading and understanding Standard Measuring Equipment SME.
  • Familiar with material traceability and equipment calibration requirements.
  • Competent and proficient in the use of all workshop machinery through the attendance at company training programs.
