Position: CNC Applications Engineer - Fanuc Programmer

We are seeking an experienced Fanuc Programmer to join our Automation team as an Applications Engineer. The role involves learning to program robots and providing factory-based and onsite customer training, as well as setting up new machines for clients.

You must be a Fanuc Programmer with a minimum of 5 years of experience working on 5-axis machines.

Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as it involves training and customer interaction.

Applicants should have solid experience in offline CNC programming using Fanuc for 5-axis machines and be within a live commutable distance to Warwickshire.

While primarily based in the factory, you must be willing and able to stay away from home from Monday to Friday and travel across the UK as required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Fanuc offline programming experience
• Minimum 5 years of programming experience on 5-axis milling and turning machines
• Availability to stay away from home Monday to Friday as required
• Valid driving license

The Role

• Integrate robots with CNC machines
• Set up and program new robots to meet customer requirements, testing both in the factory and on customer sites
• Configure automated cells and complete customer pass-offs to validate solutions
• Demonstrate and provide customer training
• Work predominantly in the factory and also on customer sites across the UK as needed
