JAM Recruitment Ltd in Tamworth is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join a progressive engineering team on a permanent basis. You will program, set and operate CNC machines to tight tolerances in a standard day shift (07:00–15:30), Monday to Friday, delivering parts to exact specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

• GCSE Mathematics required.
• Good level of basic English required.
• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC machines, loading workpieces, selecting tools and setting machine parameters.
• Interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances to meet part specifications.
• Creating and modifying CNC programmes using CAD/CAM or manual methods.
• Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments to address issues.
• Ensuring parts meet quality and dimensional specifications.
