Job summary

Orion Electrotech Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our precision engineering team in Reading. You will be responsible for programming and optimising CNC machining processes to produce high-quality components, interpreting engineering drawings and CAD data, and selecting tooling and cutting strategies to maximise efficiency.

• Previous experience as a CNC Programmer within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and manufacturing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience optimising programs to improve production efficiency.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
