• Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with multi-axis (3-5 axis) machining.
• Familiarity with post-processing and G-code optimization.

Responsibilities

• Produce and optimize CNC programs for milling operations to meet specs and targets.
• Use PowerMILL to generate and simulate toolpaths, ensuring efficient, collision-free programs.
• Use Autodesk software to work from CAD models and prepare files for CAM.
• Translate drawings and GD&T into accurate machining strategies.
• Select tooling, parameters and revise programs based on feedback.
• Simulate, test and troubleshoot programs on machines; support setup and first-off inspection.
• Collaborate with production, quality and engineering to improve processes and reduce cycle times.
• Maintain program documentation and revision control.
