Salary: £40,000 - £42,000

Hours: 38 hours based on double day shift

Overview:

We're working with a well-established and highly regarded engineering business that is actively seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for their milling machines. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC setter programmer or machinist to join a professional team within a modern, clean, and well-run facility.

Key Responsibilities of CNC Programmer:

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines.
• Working with FANUC, Siemens, and G-code control systems.
• Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings.
• Setting tools, understanding cutting speeds and feeds, and carrying out boring, drilling, and threading operations.
• Ensuring high levels of accuracy and consistency while working to tight tolerances.
• Confident use of inspection and measurement equipment including verniers, bore gauges, micrometers, etc.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment.

Experience required for CNC Programmer:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in CNC programming.
• Solid background in CNC milling operations.
• Preferably experience with CAD/CAM systems.
• Highly motivated, good communication skills, and effective team work.
• Proactive attitude, flexibility, and ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Willingness to learn and continuously improve.

Shift Details:

• Monday to Thursday 0600 - 1400 / 1400 - 2200
• Early finish Friday - 1200 / 1800

Overtime premium over 38 hours
