Were looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join one of our prestigious clients based in Newcastle-under-Lyme!

Youll be working with state-of-the-art CNC milling machines to produce precision-engineered components. Experience with Hurco WINMAX is highly preferred, along with a keen eye for detail and a strong CNC programming background.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent role offering stability, progression and a competitive salary!

What youll be doing

• Programming and operating CNC milling machines with Hurco WINMAX
• Setting up jobs independently and programming from scratch
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD models
• Performing routine maintenance to keep machines running smoothly
• Using basic maths to calculate dimensions and tolerances
• Assembling components to engineering specifications
• Finishing parts with hand and power tools (e.g., grinding)
• Working with the team to improve efficiency and quality
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace

Hours

Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-4:45pm

Friday 7:30am-12:30pm

Pay

£33,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)

+ Overtime paid at time - OTE of upto £45,000

Skills/Experience Required

• CNC milling and/or lathe operation experience
• Confident in independent CNC programming (WINMAX preferred)
• Strong knowledge of tooling and machining practices
• Skilled in using hand and power tools
