Job summary

Pro Staff Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong Hypermill experience to join a specialist engineering business in Milton Keynes, working on high-precision components for F1 and Motorsport.

You will program 3,4 and 5-axis machines, develop tooling strategies, and collaborate with setters, operators and engineers. The role offers a Monday-Thursday 8:00-16:30, Friday 8:00-13:00, 25 days holiday, pension, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Strong Hypermill experience - essential.
• Proven 3, 4 or 5-axis CNC programming experience.
• Strong understanding of 32 machining.
• Experience programming complex, high-precision components.
• Good knowledge of different materials and machining methods.
• Experience within F1, Motorsport or another high-performance engineering environment would be highly advantageous.
• A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Programme 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines using Hypermill.
• Develop and optimise programmes for complex components.
• Work mainly on 32 machining, with some simultaneous 5-axis work.
• Develop effective tooling and machining strategies.
• Programme a wide range of materials.
• Work closely with setters, operators and engineering.
• Troubleshoot machining challenges and optimise programmes for quality and efficiency.

CNC Programmer - Hypermill F1 & Motorsport Location: Milton Keynes Salary: Dependent on experience Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm | Friday 8:00am-1:00pm We're looking for an experienced CNC Programmer with strong Hypermill experience to join a specialist engineering business working across F1 and Motorsport . Hypermill experience is an absolute must for this role. You'll be programming complex, high-precision components, with around 80% of the work involving 32 machining , alongside 3, 4 and 5-axis programming.

• Programme 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines using Hypermill
• Develop and optimise programmes for complex components
• Work mainly on 32 machining, with some simultaneous 5-axis work
• Develop effective tooling and machining strategies
• Programme a wide range of materials
