Job description

An established woodworking company based in Oldbury requires an experienced CNC machine operator.

To apply you must have operated CNCmachinery, ideally in a woodworking company.

Duties:

• Operating CNC woodworking machines including a beam saw and a CNC drilling machine.
• Loading the boards and setting the air clamps to the correct ion position.
• Entering the codes for a specific program from the the job sheets.
• Performing routine cleaning of the machinery.
• Quality control checks.
• Manual handling including heavy lifting.

Requirements:

• Experience operating CNC machines.
• Understanding and training in woodworking.

Hours:

• 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. (42.5 hrs/wk.)
• This would suit someone who likes over time which is paid at 1.5

This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
