Pertemps Bristol Industrial are recruiting for a CNC Programmer for one of our clients based in Bristol, BS4.

Job Overview:

• Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30, with a 15:30 finish on Fridays.
• £18-£20 per hour based on experience (£36,000-£40,000 annually).
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing, programming, setting, and operating CNC machines for turning and drilling operations.
• Preparing and loading raw materials and parts onto machines.
• Inspecting and measuring finished products against requirements.
• Checking and maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality.
• Complying with all Health and Safety regulations and instructions.
• Adhering to relevant standards including ISO 9001.

Requirements:

• Fanuc/G code programming experience is essential.
• Experience as a CNC setter/programmer.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude and good mathematical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to meet deadlines and targets.
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the workshop.
• Cooperating with management requests as required.
