Job summary

Hrgo-Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Operative in Maidstone to set up, operate and monitor CNC machines to produce components to engineering drawings and targets.

You will read drawings, load materials, perform first-off and in-process inspections, and maintain production records while following ISO quality procedures. This permanent full-time role offers training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years machining experience.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Hands-on CNC operation and basic setup skills.
• Competent with measuring tools.
• Experience with ISO quality standards.
• CNC or conversational programming.

Responsibilities

• Read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Set up, run and monitor CNC machines.
• Load materials, change tooling/fixtures.
• Perform first-off and in-process inspections.
• Maintain production records and job cards.
• Report quality issues and support continuous improvement.
• Follow all H&S and quality procedures.
