CNC Operator - Evening/Night

SHAPE is a dynamic and growing business, motivated to bolstering experience and expertise across the team. We are looking for an enthusiastic CNC machine operator to join our team on the evening/night shift. You will enjoy working in a modern pattern shop environment, to tight deadlines and working to exacting customer requirements.

It’s a cheesy line, but we work with complex challenges & deliver them on-time by working in a dynamic environment, as a team.

Responsibilities

An outline of the core responsibilities to be expected:

• Operating CMS Ares/Antares 5-axis milling machines with Fanuc controllers.
• Operating Dugard 1000 3-axis machines with Fanuc controllers.
• Blocking up and preparing jobs for machining.
• Working to a delivery schedule agreed with the Production Manager.

About you

We expect you to have:

• Experience in 5-axis pattern machining (Epoxy/PU/Composite materials)
• Good experience in operating CNC machines with Fanuc controllers.
• Excellent communication and team working skills.
• A good ability to use your initiative and respond quickly to problems.
• Ability to work well within a small team.

We’re impressed if you have:

• Working knowledge of CATIA V5 CNC programming software.
