Job Description

Responsible for performing machining operations in accordance with work instructions and relevant drawings.

Duties, Responsibilities & Key Tasks:

1. Comply with the company’s Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
2. Program CNC machines, if required.
3. Perform machining operations following work procedures and SOPs.
4. Check that the finished product meets required specifications.
5. Accurately complete work instructions upon job completion.
6. Submit work instructions to the QA Department for review and final sign-off.
7. Maintain general housekeeping in and around the work area.
8. Perform additional duties within area of competence as needed by the company.
9. If necessary, work on other machining centres.

Experience:

• Previous experience with machining Premium & API connections.
• Experience operating machines with Fanuc controls.
• Experience creating programs on Fanuc (desirable).

Qualifications:

Education / Qualification:

• Secondary School education or equivalent.
• Time-served machinist (desirable).

Technical Skills:

• CNC operations.
• Use of hand-held power tools.
• Demonstrated competency in various machining techniques.
