Job description

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking experienced CNC Operators to join our Client's team in Middlesbrough. This is a full-time position offering stable hours, competitive pay, and excellent benefits.

The Client is a large manufacturer of steel doors, with great commercial success and growth potential. Therefore additional CNC Operators are required to full fill rapid order increases.

Please note, this is a temp to perm position. There will be a permanent role at the end of the period based on a successful probation.

Additional roles they're looking for:

• Assembly Operatives (experienced) £27k per annum
• Powder Coaters (experienced) £27k per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Using TRUMPF CNC machines

• Operate CNC machinery to bend, cut, and form sheet metal components according to company and product specifications

• Carry out inspections to ensure high-quality standards are consistently met

• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to deadlines

• Perform basic maintenance on machinery and report any faults promptly

Requirements:

• Sheet metal punch and/or press experience - ideally experience working on TRUMPF CNC machines

• Previous experience in a CNC Operator role is essential

• Health and safety awareness or training is desirable

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical drawings/specifications

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

What We Offer:

• £28,000 per year (paid weekly at £13.46 p/h when on temp to perm)

• Overtime available at enhanced rates: pay x 1.5 after 40 hours Mon-Fri and on a Saturday at £20.19 p/h and pay x 2 on a Sunday at £26.92 p/h
