Job decription

:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in Turning operations to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality, close-tolerance parts from metal and plastic materials. A strong understanding of machine setup, tooling, and other duties
Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC turning centers (lathes) according to job specifications.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Load raw materials and conduct precise machining operations.
  • Adjust machine settings, offsets, and tooling as needed.
  • Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and correct machining issues with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Document production data and complete job paperwork.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machining is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience operating CNC lathes or turning centers.
  • Knowledge of materials (aluminum, steel, plastic, etc.) and cutting tools
