Position: CNC Operator

We are seeking a CNC Operator to initially work on the dayshift for training purposes, after which you will transition to a 2-shift rotation.

Responsibilities

1. Operate press brake machines
2. Operate hydraulic or mechanical presses
3. Interpret and work according to engineering drawings
4. Set tools and perform in-process inspections

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience working as a second operator on press brake machines or on hydraulic/mechanical presses
• Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings, especially in first and third angle projection
• Ability to work independently without supervision, handling various jobs within a team of approximately 10 people

Location: Chilton

Hours of Work:

• Dayshift (Monday – Thursday): 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; Friday: 8:00 am to 12:30 pm
• 2-shift rotation:
• Monday – Thursday: 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm; Friday: 12:30 pm to 7:00 pm
• Monday – Thursday: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm; Friday: 6:00 am to 12:30 pm

Rate of Pay: £13.73 per hour
