Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in Turning operations to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality, close-tolerance parts from metal and plastic materials. A strong understanding of machine setup, tooling, and other duties is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Set up and operate CNC turning centers (lathes) according to job specifications.
  2. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  3. Load raw materials and conduct precise machining operations.
  4. Adjust machine settings, offsets, and tooling as needed.
  5. Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
  6. Ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
  7. Troubleshoot and correct machining issues with minimal supervision.
  8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  9. Document production data and complete job paperwork.
  10. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machining is a plus.
  2. 2+ years of experience operating CNC lathes or turning centers.
  3. Knowledge of materials (aluminum, steel, plastic, etc.) and cutting tools.
