EXPERIENCED CNC MILLING MACHINE OPERATOR CV7

We are looking for an experienced CNC Milling operator for a day shift.
This is a temporary to permanent position starting immediately for successful candidates.

Working hours are:

Monday to Thursday – 7:30am to 4:30pm (4 start time options: 6am or 6:30am or 7:00am)
Friday – 7:30am to 12:30pm (4 start time options: 6am or 6:30am or 7:00am)

Pay
The pay range is £12.50 – £13.50 per hour depending on experience.

As an Experienced CNC Milling Operator, duties will include:

1. Continuation of production of parts.
2. Making adjustments to tooling and wear offsets to hold tolerances and keep machine in operation.
3. Carry out inspection of your work (running CMM programs that are set by inspection).
4. Using gauges, verniers, micrometers, height gauges.
5. Maintain clean and dry stations.
6. Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.
7. Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork.

Experience Required:

• Time served / equivalent experience in a precision machining company.
• Good experience in inspecting own work using CMMs and gauges to verify product quality.
• Experience with Heidenhain controls (Preferable but not essential).
• Working to tight tolerances.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Team Player.
• Flexible.
