Job description
A rapidly expanding joinery company located in Colchester, Essex are currently looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join their team.
This is a permanent role, subject to a 3-month probation period, which is looking to pay between £16 - £18 per hour (depending on experience).
This business do everything from design through to installation, they work on a variety of commercial & residential projects throughout the UK. Are newly established and are extremely ambitious.
They are looking for a CNC Operator who has a keen eye for detail and will take pride in their work.
Working Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
- Operating CNC machines
- Working from technical drawings, cutting lists and job sheets
- Working within a wood-based environment
- Resolving any technical issues
- Maintain records of production to report any issues that arise
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Performing basic machine maintenance as required
- Experience operating CNC machines
- Experience working within a woodwork environment
- Ideally have the ability to set up machines
- Must be able to read from technical drawings
- Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensuring high quality is maintained
- Be proactive and able to multitask
