Job summary

A leading workshop in West London is seeking 2 CNC Operators to operate machinery and ensure the quality of steel components. Ideal candidates will have experience with plasma cutting and beam drills. The position offers a competitive rate of £19-£21 per hour with long-term contract options. Applicants should be detail-oriented and safety-conscious, working in a dynamic workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC operating experience (plasma cutting and/or beam drill & saw line).
• Ability to read and work from technical/fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Reliable and safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Operating CNC machinery, including plate plasma cutting machines or Kaltenbach beam drill + saw line.
• Reading and interpreting technical/fabrication drawings and cutting lists.
• Ensuring accuracy, quality, and dimensional control of steel components.
• Performing routine checks and basic maintenance on machines.
• Working safely and effectively within a busy workshop environment.

Overview

2x CNC Operators required for a workshop in West London.

Rate: £19-£21 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Longevity: Long-term
Hours: 07:30 - 18:00 (overtime included)
Location: West London (no parking available at workshop)

Responsibilities

• Operating CNC machinery, including plate plasma cutting machines or Kaltenbach beam drill + saw line (or both if experienced)
• Reading and interpreting technical/fabrication drawings and cutting lists
