CNC Operator
Sector: Engineering / Manufacturing

Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday - Friday days.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

ISQ Recruitment is working with a leading precision engineering company in the Cambridgeshire area, currently looking to add a CNC Operator to their team.
This is a hands-on role operating a range of CNC machines, producing high-quality components in a clean, well-organised environment. Ideal for someone confident with CNC operation and keen to work with tight tolerances and modern technology.

The Role:
  • Load, run and monitor CNC machines to produce precision components
  • Carry out checks using measurement tools and inspection equipment
  • Work to tight tolerances and maintain high attention to detail
  • Unload and finish components where required
  • Assist programmers with first-off and prove-out work
  • Follow safe working practices and maintain a clean environment (5S)
  • Perform weekly machine maintenance
  • Support process improvements across CNC operations
What We re Looking For:
  • CNC machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of Fanuc-based vertical milling centres
  • Confident reading basic engineering drawings and using inspection tools
  • Comfortable working to micron-level precision
  • Experience with 5-axis or wire EDM is a bonus, but not essential
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, and detail-focused
