Job summary

A well-established client in Burgess Hill is seeking an experienced CNC Operator. The successful candidate will manage the operation of CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components, adhering to tight tolerances and specifications. Responsibilities include setting tools, conducting inspections, and performing general assembly work. With a shift pattern of 4 on, 4 off and an hourly rate of £14, this role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals familiar with Fanuc controls and CNC processes.

Responsibilities

• Efficient operation of CNC milling machines to produce precision-engineered components.
• Setting of tools using a tool presetter and producing finished components from machine programs.
• Conducting inspections of parts to ensure specifications are met.
• Performing deburring and pressure testing of components as required.
• General assembly work.

Job description

We are currently seeking for an experienced CNC Operator to join our well established client in Burgess Hill (RH15)

You will be responsible for the efficient operation of CNC milling machines to produce precision-engineered high quality components, involving loading and unloading machines, set up and in process inspection of parts to meet required specifications using a tool presetter.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting of tools using a tool presetter, you will be producing finished components to drawing specification from existing machine programs and adjusting off-sets during running control, ensuring all inspection operations are conducted and controlled to procedure, using gauges and CMM equipment.
• Deburr components as required
• Pressure test components as per work instruction
• General assembly work

Skills

• Experience in setting/operating CNC Milling machines and familiarity with Fanuc Controls
• CMM experience
• Setting of tools using a tool presetter
• Excellent attention to detail and used to working with tight tolerances

Shift Pattern:

4 on 4 off

11 hour shifts

£14 per hour
