Job summary

Gap Personnel is seeking an experienced CNC Operative / Programmer in the Heathfield area to program, set and operate CNC wood-routing machinery to produce high-quality parts. This permanent role offers 40 hours per week and a competitive salary.

You will handle programming, setting and operation, tooling changes, first-piece inspections, and continuous improvement while maintaining production records in a hands-on team environment.

• Two years’ experience in a CNC role.

• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.

Location: Heathfield – Newton Abbot
Salary: £13.25 - £14.00
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

An established manufacturing business is looking for an experienced CNC Operative / Programmer to join its team. This is a hands‑on role involving the programming, setting and operation of CNC wood‑routing machinery to produce high‑quality products accurately and efficiently.

This would suit someone with strong CNC machining knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to solve problems and improve manufacturing processes.

The role

• Programming, setting and operating CNC wood routers
