Overview

CNC Milling Technician – Derby – Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Setting and operating milling machines, depending on experience, using Fanuc, Mazatrol, or Siemens controls
  • Machining medium to large-sized, complex components in smaller batch sizes
  • Performing multiple setups per day to produce components for various precision engineering sectors
  • Self-inspecting components using manual measuring equipment to ensure customer/industry standards
  • Intermittent machine maintenance
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Miller
  • Confident with either Mazatrol, Siemens, or Fanuc control systems
  • Experience setting, operating, and editing multi-axis CNC machines
  • Previously machined complex parts for precision industries, including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas, Medical, etc
  • Experience working with small to medium batch sizes and medium to large-sized components
  • Experience with machining to tight tolerances
  • Confident using manual measuring equipment
